Interesting choice by Nissan to integrate the headunit with the HVAC control in the center stack. This will make radio upgrade interesting. That really sucks.
That only applies to the 370z touring models, where the HVAC controls are together with the head unit. They are separate for the base models, just like the 350z's.

Very unfortunate. What I REALLY want to know is, on the base model (which has four speakers), which ones are deleted, in addition to the subs? And if it's the ones behind the seats, are the grilles still there?

I haven't found any information to verify this. Everything I've seen points to the HVAC being a part of the stock radio.
