370zx
Been looking though pictures of Toronto's Auto show and notices something funny, they are realeasing AWD version of 370z in Canada? On the Banner/Info Stand it says 370ZX.
True False? Whats going on, have i been living under a rock?

Confusing. They dropped the "ZX" moniker when they introduced the Z33, but added "X" to the G37 and other recent Infiniti models to denote AWD. I'm guessing it's just mislabeled.

Maybe they are just calling it a 370ZX for the Canadian markets... Just like plenty of other cars that were otherwise identical in the US were called something else in Canada.

You never know, canadians always get something different, this is the first time new Z is introduced in canada, no other dealership has any info on it. And on Nissan Canada website there is no such thing as ZX. Weired stuff indeed.

g35 was a skyline in japan correct? 350 was a fairlady aka z33 over there as well... so possibly they just call it a zx because they want to? its OBVIOUS there wouldnt be a "candaian awd special" because the jap's are wayyy to smart not to have released it with the initial launch to the whole world. no awd

I don't buy it. Nissan considers the Z an iconic sports car. Nissans pure definition of that is 2 seats, RWD, & MT always an option. The Z32 had the X in it too but the X stands for different things between Infiniti and Nissan, don't get it confused with the definitions. What I think it might be is a HICAS system they had and have the 370Z have all wheel steering.

LOL at anybody that thinks Nissan is going to make an AWD model just to capitalize on the "huge" Canadian market.
Looks like somebody just misprinted a marketing piece...
edit: In fact, now that I look at the picture further, the Miata next to it has the same sign... so it looks like the Toronto auto show people are highlighting a few "sports cars of the world". This would leave me to believe that the Toronto auto show squibbs put this together (not Nissan officials), and simply misspelled the name.
