... will have problems with their cars in a year, i.e., tire feathering, oil consumption, flecked paint, mysterious creaking/noises, etc.? I predict at least 50%.
I only ask because for the Z33, it wasn't until the 2007/2008 model years that Nissan worked out most of the kinks. As much as I like Nissan, they are not known for their fit/finish quality or attention to detail.

I have an 03 and the only problem I've had so far is tire feathering. I bought my car last year with 27,000 miles now i have 57,000 miles. So far my Transmission is flawless.
I am sure the 370 will have some minor problems, but I think Nissan would've really paid attention to detail on this car.
And so far I've not seen one on the road. Still sitting at the dealerships

Most 370Z reviews mention much-improved fit & finish compared to the 350Z.
I got my 2003 350Z in late 2002, and although I had a few of the well-known first model year problems, Nissan fixed them all promptly. I would expect the same for the 370Z (mine is arriving in April

Analyze this, dude: Even with the feathering thing ('O3 issue), and with the oil-consumption problem ('O6 models), we keep buying them. I took a gamble on an 'O4 Touring Coupe and, so far, it's been ECSTASY! So, believe you me, 370 sales WILL slowly pick up, as new buyers keep posting here what a s-w-e-e-t ride it is, in spite of a couple flaws it may bring along with it for the first couple of years.
