.. some decent HP gains would be great and this time have it so the tips dont stick out so far as they did in the 350..otherwise the sound was a nice and deep but NOT an obnoxious rumble ..I really liked that about the 350 models and def improve the mounting and clamping.

The 370Z exhaust cutout is integrated deeper (into the bumper) than the 350Z. In every exhaust we develop, exhaust tip selection is critical in form and function. Our double-walled tips adds minimal weight and absorbs heat, helps keeping the outside wall looking great. The rounds tips will expand lengthwise under heat and we're looking at this very closely. Thanks for your feedback!

How about aggressive sound on WOT, no highway-speed drone, fewer parts with less clamping, and a +20% weight reduction from stock?

good vid..cool deal..and the all important part..the dyno says?
Just to echo what melloyellow said, if it costs as much as the other one out now cost, I simply won't buy it. I know how much it really costs to make an exhaust so charging $1200, $1600, and my favorite, $4800 "please" is just ridiculous. I know your a business and your trying to make money but just realize that not everybody who has a Z can affordall that. Even if I could afford one of those right now, I wouldn't buy them just because of how much their charging.

In that link that was posted that exhaust sounded very raspy and I refuse to buy an exhaust that sounds that way because it sounds cheap and there is no point in spending that much money for a poor result. There has got to be a way to fix that.
First off, I don't post often even though I've been on this board since I've owned my Z in 2006, and I think it's great to see a manufacturer on the site getting consumer thoughts and opinions.
Second, I've almost always selected Borla exhaust for a several reasons. They are typically light (for SST), have a more 'grown up' appearance, I don't like raspy but a more refined sound and they make decent power. I initially like the clamp designs, but now having removed one after being installed for a few years I realize how aweful they are to take off. If I were to build my own exhaust, which I have for other cars, I'm all for V-bands. Simple, no gaskets, fairly light. My final design request (as mentioned above by others) is to goto an X-pipe rather than an H-pipe. Of coarse we all want cheaper, but keeping the price reasonable will always be a factor.
