My friend had the tanabe racing medallion exhaust with the (megan "resonated" test pipes and it sound soooooooooooo SEXY and good... I think the rolled tips are out of style and if you can make them kind of a slant cut for cleaner look... ( slight oval too )

I own a 350Z with Borla Catback exhaust system. It’s the best investment I have ever made on this car. The sound is deep and it “sings” all the way up. It’s quiet on the highway unless I push the car a little. It’s simply the best sounding car I have ever heard and beats any Porsche or Ferrari sound from far in my opinion. Most important, it doesn’t sound crappy like most of the after market exhaust systems. It sounds “sophisticated” and makes a lot of curious people turn their heads when I drive buy.

I am looking for the same sound for my new 370Z. I would buy Borla anythime but I have to admit that I am a little bit disappointed with the “Borla developpement” video so far. Doesn’t sound as good as the 350z Catback system. I hope it’s simply because the final product is not done yet. And also, please reduce the number of clamps!!!

One important thing about the Borla exhaust, the tip are inclined just like the original, giving a better “fit” overall. Hope you do the same for the 370Z. Also, bigger tips (4,5in) could be nice as long as they fit of course.

So only one question: when will the 370z Borla exhaust wil hit the market?? I am very impatient!! I want to know when and where I can order it ASAP.

Thanks

The Stillen on my old G35 sedan droned SOOO bad I was forced to remove it. I wasn't a fan of the Borla tips as much as the Stillen/Nismo tips for the 350z, but generally Borla's sound great so you guys probably can make a pretty good solution.
I'd agree. I just got the Borla on my 05 G35 Sedan and the freakin drone has me about to go back to stock and sell the thing. I freakin set off car alarms in parking garages.

waste of money for a daily driver in my opinion. I love the sound, but it's just too much around town.

I'm sure you're working to prevent this in the 370z, but the fact that this was COMPLETELY overlooked in development for the G sedan has me a little worried about the 370z.

Despite Alvin's promises of it being available as early as April, the Borla web site still doesn't have it as of July 1, 2009.
