Default I've never seen a 370 on the road

Maybe it's just me and I don't get out often enough but since January, I've not seen one 370 on the road (and no, I don't live in the sticks, I live in the DC metro area with a population that assumably has the dough to afford a 370). When I bought my Nismo from the stealership a month ago, I asked the salesperson if 370s were moving and he said we're selling "tons of them" when there was a lot of visible stock on the lot (*the BS flag went up the pole in my mind*).

This isn't much of a shock, with the recession and the current state of the overall auto industry, it's shouldn't come as a surprise that a 2 seat, rear wheel drive impractical sports car with un-Prius like gas mileage isn't moving off the lot.

I've seen a couple of them (both silver), but until I was literally next to them, I still thought they were just well-cared-for 350Zs . . .

Maybe you've seen a 370Z, and not known it?

I've only seen them at the dealers, yet to see one on the road. But to be fair, I live in New England, I see a 350z maybe 2 times a month so the odds of seeing a 370 is slim to none, at least for now.

I saw one at Plaza Las Américas Mall, in a car show...It's cuter than the 350, no doubt. Nearly a hundred pounds lighter, and with 26 more hp, man, she's a s-w-e-e-t ride! In my specific case, it's 45 hp more, 'cause I own an 'O4 Touring Coupe, which has 287 hp. I ain't gettin' rid of her, though; she's just too reliable to do that.

I just saw silver one this past weekend. I was driving a work car, the guy probaly a little shaken seeing that I chased him till he exited. The car definitely is sportier and it don't look too bulky. I would get one, if I didn't have my Z. Zs are plentiful, but I am seeing more Zs with rims then when I had mine a few years ago.

I saw a red on the highway about a week and a half ago. It was going the opposite direction, so I was only able to stare for a short time.

looked hot though

I think I have only seen one on the road (houston) so far. Fares well for me since I am looking to buy soon (currently still in my 05 G35) and that means they aren't moving too well, even though one dealer tried to tell me otherwise.

Yup, here in Vegas I've only seen one and he was from Ca. just visiting. Two of the three Nissan dealerships I've been keeping my eye on have had the same 6 (3 per dealership) since Jan. One dealership isn't doing test drives but the other one is. Still neither of them are selling. I plan to give them the option to sell me one once April is here but only if they give me the price I want. I think maybe this time around the 370z won't be as plentyfull as the 350z was on the roads. It's a bad time for selling cars right now and a good time to buy, if you have the funds to do so. Problem is that most people right now aren't buying.

End note: I heard a statistic a while back, maybe a month ago, that the majority of car dealerships revenew in the last 6mo had come from tune-ups and repairs on peoples cars rather than the dealership selling cars. Rather people are choosing to fix their cars and keep them in shape rather than buying a new car. On average people traded in their cars something like every 4-5 years. I bet that number is going up now.
