dealer gave me a price for the 370z
When the car is brand new and hot, Nissan makes more of the expensive touring model because they make more money on it. I just wish that they would pump out more base sports because there is strong demand for it and there are very few availible.
I went in there today to check out the 370z. They only had one available there, the same one that was there about a month ago. (It was automatic with the paddle shifters)
After hours of talking.......for a 6 speed Touring (no sport package), they gave me the final price of $34,270.
Do you all think thats a good price for the 370?
He also told me he would sell his 08 350z for 28,800. Since it is their last one so they want to get rid of it. Told him he's out of his mind cuz i can get a 08 NISMO for 28K OTD(dont ask why i chose not to go for it)

I was wondering, I saw a fully loaded 370Z with exactly what I want on it, it is priced at almost $42,000 but the dealership said that they can sell it to me for a little under $39,000. I was just wondering what a good price is? I am not sure with the economy the way it is, can I go much lower? say $36,000? or is that just way to low no matter what or should I just wait until they realize cars are just not selling for a while. Appreciate the help! Thanks!
youre asking for close to a $10,000 discount on a brand new car! yes i know the economy isn't doing really well and cars are not moving, but no dealerships will discount 10,000 on a brand new car. you CAN get a 370z for mid to low 30s, but you're going to have to strip down the car some. $35,000 can either get you a base with sport, touring w/ nav, or possibly a touring w/ sport. Not trying to rain on your parade, but just trying to help you keep a realistic perspective.
i have a quick question, for anyone who knows, specifically mike.
I will be returning home from Iraq in June of 2010. with pictures of the nismo 370z on my wall, everytime i feel like spending money, i look at it, and tell myself i dont need it. hopefully coming home with a large chunk of change. would paying for a nismo z straight cash give a dealer an incentive to give me a better deal then having them finance me?

Prior the recession, I didn't manner if you paid cash or bought on credit (loan) in my experience. Now a days, a cash sale seams to be better (no waiting time for a loan) if the dealership is hungry. I getting a 370Z for invoice on a cash sale!
