I think the 370 is a big improvement over the 350 in handling, performance, interior fit and finish and ride and comfort. The design is also more aggressive. All in All Nissan listened to the 350Z owner feedback and made the right changes in my opinion. Glad I got one and plan to have it until they make further improvements any then I will consider a new one.

Just like when the 350z when replaced the 300zx, the new generation is out! I love the performance and the new tweaks. I got a bit over 70k miles on my 350Z and I plan on picking up a lightly used 370z after a few years...maybe in 3 or 4?

The Z34 is a nice ride and if I had money to burn I might buy one but after owning a Z33 from brand new and paying a pretty penny for it, it's sort of discouraging to see how much valve the car has lost in such a short time, and I have a feeling the Z34 won't be any different.

I'll buy it in 2-3 years whenever all the first generation "kinks" have been worked out. Also by that time we'll know what to expect from the car and the after market support will be much greater. I still think I'll keep the 350 though, I love the car to death. :]

I think it is fugly and the vert is no better. ![dunno](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/dunno.gif)
I'm more than a little disappointed in the appearance.
The performance and technical tweaks are nice, but not enough to get me to pony up the cash for another car. I'll stick with what I've got. Maybe 10 years down the road they will come out with one that have a face like a crying baby.

Though I respect the evolution in VQ and the interior style. I am still not a fan of the front end. This car will be an awesome performer especially in the years to come, but for now my 07 will be the only game in town. I will probably move to a CaymanS as my next car, but for now im still in love.

looking back, i kinda wish i'd gotten a car on my own now. might have gotten an ae-86 or something. lol i still love the car though. you kinda develop a bit of a relationship with it. if i ever get rid of it, it'll probably depress me for a while. but yeah, if i ever have kids (looks kinda doubtful), screw that, they can work for their own crap, which is better, so they don't end up a loser like me. lol although to be fair, i got into a lot of shady business deals working with the old man at the time, which later ended up with a foreclosure and my credit ruined on my record now, so maybe i did work for it for it in way. to be honest, i just think he bought me the thing to keep me from killing myself but whatever. lesson learned: don't get into business with your parents. lol
about the 370z, i didnt like it at first but its slowly growing on me. if my credit ever recovers, id go for one of the later nismo models, cause i always wanted to buy the nismo parts (mainly the bodykit, intake, exhaust, just the basics) for my 350 but it'd be alot easier to just walk off the dealership with all that crap already on the car and not worry about buying it aftermarket and etc and on top of that you can finance the whole thing, so thats good. plus maybe in the future they might come out with new colors, as well. i think the 370z would look awesome in the same gun metallic color the gt-r is available in.

I just took delivery of mine, a "Magnetic Black" base trim with the Sport pkg. Didn't spring for the bun warmers, leather, etc. that the $7K Touring trim gets you. Dealers had great deals on 2008s, but the MUCH improved interior, SynchroRev Match and a few other goodies clinched the deal for me to spring for the new one. I didn't like the catfish fangs either when I first saw the car in C&D, but it's grown on me. So far (OK, less than a week), no regrets!

Not true, he may have deserved it for doing something commendable such as managing to get into a renowned college, reward for series of good deeds, etc. I think if my dad got me something for things that i've done or achieved, I would be proud to mention that he purchased it for me.
Hell my dad would have given me a 30k car if I got a full ride scholarship for college. Too bad I only get 75% deductions on my tuition, at least i'll be proud to say he'll be helping me with a down payment on a house and I'm only 20.
If he got it just for being spoiled, then my assumptions will backfire on me.

I've been bouncing back and forth between liking the looks of the car for a verry long time now, which to me means that I probably don't like the looks, overall. Either way, I have said that my next car probably won't be an NA V6 anymore: so I'm looking at the 335i, Audi S5, C6 Vette as candidates for my next car. But that's a decision that won't be made for quite some time.

No way!
I now own my 350Z outright and feel extremely fortunate to have bought one when the 2006 350Z body style and Daytona Blue color were available. I stand with all the posts here stating that the 370Z is a "nice try" by Nissan but just doesn't quite make it. I will wait to see what comes out after the 370Z has run its course.
