Am I the only one who thinks the 370Z looks much better than the 350?

Am I the only one who thinks the 370Z looks much better than the 350?
Perhaps it is because this is a 350Z forum but it seems that I am one of the few who thinks the 370Z is a very nice looking car. The 350Z is a nice looking car but is looks a little outdated compared to the new Z which has a more sculpted shape.
It seems to me that very few late model Japanese cars stand the test of time as far as looks. They tend to become dated. With a few of the 240Z lines in the 370Z perhaps it will fair well. The 300ZX and original Z (240-280Z) still look good to me though.

I hate it. I dislike the 03-06 hood as well....perhaps that's why i don't like the 370 hood.
I'm partial to the 07+ hood. Could be because I own a HR.....but who knows.
As far as the 350 looking out dated.....you are smoking dope.
I hate these threads, yet i always find myself in them?

^ agreed, love the bump, funny i loved the z when it came out and now think the older ones look like junk! just went to check out the 370z, meh. if you wouldve asked everyone what the next z would look like a year or two after it came out, i doubt people would have imagined the 370z, i think everyone was hoping for a bad ***** of a car, but i think the gtr forces nissan to limit the z to distinguish the two. no gtr, now thats a different story. combine the z and the gtr and i think thats what everyone prefers. oh, but keep it the price of the z, not the gtr!

I hate the front bumper on the new car, but everything else has grown on me.
With all the mechanical improvements to the car, I could really care less about the way it looked. It's smaller, lighter, faster and has a significantly improved interior and handling.
It's also one of the first times Nissan has made real improvements to every part of a car and not just done a cosmetic face lift (Altima, Maxima, Sentra, etc.)
The R34/R35 transformation is the only other car Nissan recently put as much work into as far as a next model goes.

The 370z looks 10x better than the 350. My Co-Worker (350 driver) will be trading his in for a 370z after seeing it now for a few weeks.
I can't blame the 350z owners. They now drive a dated looking car, but it's hard to admit a newer style than you own looks better. I would have a hard time admitting it too if I had a 350.

It definitely is much cuter! As a matter of fact, even though I obviously prefer the performance of the GT-R, I actually like the 37OZ's looks better! FLAME ON!--thus spake the Human Torch---I got my fire-proof suit on!!!

Perhaps "dated" is too strong of a word. The 350Z still looks good but it does not look as good to me as before now that the 370Z came out. I hope the 350Z and 370Z will remain good looking cars.

Actually, I think just the opposite. It seems to me the 350Z takes better to aftermarket body kits due to its simple shape than the more sculpted 370Z. Every kit that has come out for the car so far has only taken away from its appeal.
