The HR 350z is good for 13.1-13.6 depending on what mags or owners timeslips you look at. So in that regard the 300zxTT is not the same as the 350z HR, but actually slower.

And no I'm not an HR fan at all. I'm just a guy who has been in to Z's for over ten years while owning or driving pretty much every model Z out there. Give credit where credit is do and let rumors die. The 300zxTT was a powerhouse back in the 90's but compared to the 350z it is outdated, especially when comparing it to the HR. As for the 370z, give it time. Just like the HR 350z, I'm sure people will start showing what it's capable of doing in the right hands at a good track.
All fair points (except for the Z32 being outdated - it had four wheel steering for ****'s sake!). However, add $1k of mods to a Z32TT and $1k of mods to any version of the Z33, and you know the results.

It's absurd how people actually think that a 350Z, even an HR, has a chance against a 370Z with all things equal. Let's face it, there's a newer, faster, lighter Z on the block.

By all means... Please show video otherwise.

So far, HR + exhaust + Cf hood + Cf salad > Unknown mods 370z > Stock 370z.

maybe because theres only a 26HP difference, when it comes to straight line speed, that hardly makes a huge difference.

regardless, perhaps the 370z is faster than an HR Z, so what, i'm over it.

Was in my buddies Nismo and found a 370Z on the highway. We did a little go, nothing big or official, but I can tell you, the guy was a worse driver but his extra HP made up for it so he had a little pull. Put a better driver in and the HR loses hands down. I own an HR, and I'll give it up for the 370Z. It's faster.

even from a dig, the 370z launches crappy but the power advantage reels in the 350z and pulls away.
^ This video is a better representation of a 350Z vs 370Z then the first videos posted. Roll racing takes out most factors that can throw a race off and gives a much clearer picture of which car clearly has a better power:weight. Racing from a stop dosnt prove much other then which car launches better and or has a better driver.

Also looking at the average trap speeds posted from 370Zs vs 350Z HRs you can clearly see a 2-4mph advantage for the 370Z.

In the 1/4 mile your correct...its a little easier to get a stock HR 350Z to post a quicker ET then a stock 300ZX TT. But looking at trap speeds the 300ZX TT sits at least on par with a stock HR (103-105MPH) which indicates its just as fast. Now a 370Z is definetly a little quicker then a stock 300ZX TT.

Well I guess that settles that. But I'll wait for some of the HR people to say that the 370z in that video was a Ringer.

It has a lot more to do with gearing than power to weight ratio. Even if all else was kept equal, let's say 2 HR 350Z, one with OEM gearing and another with 3.7, 3.9 or 4.08, the outcome would be pretty bad for the OEM geared car. The added power of the 370Z, is just icing on the cake.

Thats your opinion. btw, roll racing doesn't prove which car has a better power/weight ratio so to speak, it only proves which car has more power on the top end.

No ringer, but a 370 with intakes versus a stock 350. Not as even as stock vs. stock would be.

1st: 370z got an intake, maybe got 10-15rwhp out of it? We all know 370z response good to mod
2nd: 350z maybe stock?
3rd: We know for sure that the 350z got 1passenger (camera man).
4th: Does the 370z got any passenger?
5th: Don't get me wrong, the 370z IS A LITTLE BIT FASTER CAR THAN the 350z hr.

rofl, 10 to 15 whp from an intake? Rofl!!! Ricer map ftl!!!

yes the camera man does give the 350z an advantage, but nothing that is gonna make the bus lengths look that much better.
