Good point. I think lots of folks would be interested in seeing the return of a factory FI version of the Z, especially with a TT version of the VQ37VHR or the VR38 motor from the GT-R. That is wishful thinking though IMO.

However, with regards to the Motortrend article in the OP and some of the comments in this thread about a smaller displacement turbocharged engine... I'm not sure a decrease in displacement below 3.5L or 3.7L will be as appealing to the current FI enthusiasts in the Z/G community. I think many guys would prefer to have a 500whp stock block VQ37VHR with aftermarket FI instead of factory FI with a significantly smaller motor(3.0L or less) making ~400 crank hp.

True... But then again the 300ZX tt had a tt..The 350z didnt.. That in itself pretty much proves that a 370Z TT is going to cost more than a base 370. Which was my main point


Anywho..I was just speaking in general..That most things like houses, gas, consumer goods or insurance and interest rates etc.. Usually only go up.

Talking about factory FI Z makes me miss my '85T 5spd. Turbo back 3" exhuast, Boost controller, K&N air filter... So little $$ So much FUN!
