Default Manual newb...nismo 370?

I'm currently an owner of an 07 AT 350z...but I have about an _hour_ of experience with MT. I've haggled the dealer down to about the same payments as I make on my 350, and my trade-in will pay off my current loan. I don't see a down-side to this, other than beating the hell out of the clutch as I'm learning... What do you guys think? I did solid on my buddy's Subaru who taught me how to drive stick...is it worth it, or should I go safe and get an AT?

Feel free to poke fun for the AT, but I've never had friends/family with a MT to learn on...so whatdya think? Time for "real" driving with the NISMO, or do you think I'm gonna torture the clutch beyond recognition? (I still suck at hills and burnt my buddy's clutch a little when we were learning on them..)

I hope, man...I drive in a ton of traffic daily, but am feeling pretty confident after learning. The dealer said they'll let me dominate a beater Sentra they have before I actually take it home. I'm just apprehensive about it since it's such a big purchase...even though a new flywheel + install (if I did F it up) would cost like ~1000? Maybe more?

Northern VA...not a whole lot of space to "have fun" if you will. More stand-still traffic than wide open straight-aways. I've been nailed a few times already for speeding so I won't be pushing it real hard too often (if at all).

350z was my first MT car and I bought it not knowing how to drive stick properly. 370z clutch pedal can be adjusted so it should be easier to learn than a 350z. Just need to find the feel you are comfortable with.

I'm not familiar with ZdayZ...even though I've owned one for ~3 years, I haven't gone to any meets for fear of catching AT heat.

Haha...you know, I never even thought of that. I had an AEM intake and Hotchkis sway bars and springs on my 350...never even thought about tint (especially for that reason).

I'll protect you. I bought an '03 AT brand new.

I have OG armor.

Check the ZdayZ thread. I'm driving from Toronto to NC over two days.
It's worth it.

Hraesvelg's OG armor is made up of lulz and AIDS. That's what will keep other members away from you/him.

If I see a black one I'm done for.

I had an '07 Nismo.
