a Corvette with 55k miles? no way!
I bet that thing takes corners like a boat too! the 370 wins in the looks department as well, this should be a no brainer, low miles, better looks, not quite as fast but more nimble and synchro rev match to boot? I dont think this deserves a second thought
just look at this thing!

This "Girl" actually, and from a womans perspective, the 370Z is a better looking car and by far better bang for your buck. 5 year old car vs. 1 year old car... hmm... sounds like someone has an over-inflated ego... probably compensating for an under-inflated something else

vette looks outdated with those ugly headlights and front end. vette is prolly heaver on fuel since its a daily driver and is high mileage and older. 370 is brand new..No problems i would go for that. Hey if you like buying old cars i my buddy has a lambo countache for 30 grand 1989

The 370's mileage improved on the 350's a bit, 18 city, 26 hwy, i've seen mine do as well as 31mpg from here to Fresno.
and you will find a great many who feel Z cars are easier on the eyes than the played out styling of the Corvette that hasnt changed since the 70s, BORING!

Not true at all, the Corvette is rated at 15 mpg city and 25 hwy (with hurricane force winds at your back)

I owned a vette and can honestly say you have no idea what you are talking about. THe LS2 is rated at 18 city and 28 highway. It too is capable of averaging 30 miles to to the gallon. Not too bad for a big ol v8 that can hand the 370 it's ***. You obviously have blinders on (no offense, but the 370 is not very attractive until you dress it up). A better fight for you to pick would be with the 2011 mustang but keep in mind they've done quite well with their new 5.0 as well.
Sounds to me like someone has some 370Z envy, which is unfortunate because most people who own Z cars are proud of its tradition and respect all models. I dont race cars quite frankly, so power to me is no object, i'll leave that to my husband, who by the way, daily drives a 600hp M3, when I want to pick on Corvettes or Mustangs, i'll just drive that And as far as looks are concerned, as a former owner of an 04' enthusiast, while i loved that car more than anything, the new Z outshines it looks wise in every respect. However this is a matter of opinion, and you are entitled to yours. From a mans point of view, you may think this, but myself and all of my girlfriends think the 370 is the bees knees

theres a difference between being proud of a car, and being blind about the competition..
handles like a boat .. lol. you dont have to put down the corvette to 'respect' the 370z. why don't you become a fan of performance cars in general, and what they are capable of, rather then the brand? maybe then you won't feel inclined to make false statements to make your brand preference appear superior?

Holy thread hijack batman! I do appreciate performance cars, however, I know what I like, and looks wise, the Corvette doesnt do it for me, it never has, along with the Camaro and the Mustang, why? because everyone drives one. If i could have any car, i'd be driving an M5, now THAT is performance!!!

You might benefit from doing a little more research on these cars before you make anymore outlandish claims.
