the production model of this lip was beefier and not as nice, but all the 370z needs to look insane is a drop, some nice wheels, or spacers on Rays 19s, and a nice front lip ....

There are more and more lips coming out and there are now a few good options...

The rays 19s make the 370z pop way more.. The red one is a base.. I would reccomend you get a sport package 370 if you get one...



This is my car stock with the 18s.. I made the mistake of not geting sports package and I have since purchased a VLSD Pumpkin and the Rays 19s... The front akebono brake package is next on the list ... I will end up spending way more than the 2,700 it would of cost me up front... But still looks nice, I believe thats my car with just a drop and 15mm rear spacers when it had about 300 miles.. I have way more now and have the rays 19s. Looks much more aggressive with the rays.

But I hate how all the 350 guys dont like the 370, I feel like they all think im a rival on the road by me too, they are both nice quality cars for the money..

I say get a 370z and tastefully modify it!

Whole lot of money for not a lot of performance. Nissan is going to shoot themselves in the foot if they don't bring the prices down, just like they did with the Z32.

who cares no one in this thread is going to build a 1000 whp vette or Z.... only one member on this particular site has built a 1000HP VQ that I know of and it was a G35....and his build took a very long time

The 1000 HP Z's that I know of are all shop owned...

as for this thread, as has been stated just go out and test drive the vehicles and get what you want....

It isn't about being excited or not when it comes to the Z, its about being REALISTIC and level headed when you're discussing two cars. Dollar for dollar, the Vette is a better deal if you want performance. That doesn't mean the Z is a POS or anything, so I am not sure why you are taking it as some sort of personal insult.

thanks for that detailed response, if there are other 1000Whp VQ builds by members on this site, then feel free to share.. its been a while since I checked up on the high HP builds...so I could be wrong... but that wasn't really the main point of my post..

I dont take it as a personal insult at all, however I dont like it when people talk down upon the 370Z, its an amazing car. And if you want to talk power per dollar, the 6.0 GTO leads in that category, I seen one the other day for less than 25k.

For all that you get with the 370, handling, power, looks, Its a pretty tough one to beat.

 

Yet you can talk down upon the corvette? Ever heard of double standards?
