Lol @ secks saying the 370Z is the "bees knees" haha..Goodness woman, aren't you suppose to be in the kitchen making a sandwich?
I kidd I kidd, but seriously, you have your own opinion, and so do others. Don't try to force people to agree with you....Oh and btw, you are WAY off about the mpg for the vette, sure it might say 15/25 or w/e, but you can EASILY get 30+mpg on the highway. 370Z looks....ehh....barf? I'd take my HR over a 370 ANY DAY! Even if it is slower or heavier or has a shittier interior, no thanks.

Having driven a wide range of high performance sports cars over my lifetime, half my family has been in the car business my whole life and I've had the benefit of access to some pretty cool and some very rare cars as a result, I much prefer the styling of the 370Z over the 350Z AND the C6.
Although they've reduced the length of the C6 from the C5, they still feel WAY too "big" for me. They're crazy fast, they have awesome handling, but I hate driving them. I don't feel the same connection to the road that I feel when I drive a 370Z and for the price of an equivalent year C6, the 370Z can be heavily modded and have money left over for A LOT OF gas.
If I want to go faster on the street than a 370Z allows and frighten domestic muscle cars and European super cars, I drive an old '72 240Z...

Just traded my 07 Vette last Saturday for the 370. Just signed in here, first post.
Reasonably, the Z has all the go power you can use if you're not on the track. The Vette may have been faster or not, I never opened it up. It was fun on the on-ramps, I admit.
I do know for sure the Z has a noticeably better ride and seems a little more nimble. I had a C5 for 1.5 yr and the C6 for 2 and I already don't really miss them.
Hard choice for you. Good luck whichever way you go.

Wow I have not checked this forum in a while after I posted that question. You guys seem to be mixed in feeling for both the 370 and the C6. The C6 I am looking at is actually a 2007 but the thing i dont like is that it is automatic with paddle shifters. It has 32k miles on it. After me telling you that please give me your opinions.

Not to mention, this is not the Domestic engines of the 80s and 90s. The late model LS engines are bullet proof. A LS series engine with 50K is nothing to worry about. A BMW with 50K is something to worry about! A vette with 50K is far from a car to worry about falling apart.

Mixed? It appears pretty obvious to me. You are on a Z forum and 9 out of 10 are saying F the Z and get a Vette. The Vette is better looking (objective) handles better (fact) is faster (fact) and gets just as good of gas mileage (depending on how you drive it).

handles better - no way (370Z pulls .99 skidpad and 72 mph slalom, Vette .92 and about 69 mph slalom)
mileage - very close
Looks - I prefer the 370Z but that totaly subjective, What isn't is the attention you will get if looks are important to you. The 370Z is so rare, it's just going to garner a lot more attention.
Where I live, the vette makes more logical sense, but if I lived where there where a lot of twisty roads, the gocart feel of the 370Z is hard to beat.
