Not holding my breath. But maybe I should because the render stinks. Sorry, had to.
But seriously, ho hum..... seen so many of these "leaks" that that they mean nothing until I have keys in hand and the thing is parked in front of me, AVAILABLE to drive. But nice to see some press nonetheless.
Yeah, I won't say much about anything until they actually have them in production. I'm thinking of going to the Detroit autoshow in January. Maybe I'll see something there.
This is nothing new. As stated previously, Nissan continue to study what a new Z might look like, but NO production plan has ever been discussed. Also, it irks me to see a site like Motor1.com use a sensational headline intimating that Nissan has "officially" announced anything. An interview (even with a senior VP) is a far cry from any official press release announcing a new Z. Expect to see a pre-production model someday, just to gauge public reaction. But outside of that, the next Z still only exists in the imagination.

Don't expect to see anything at Detroit in January. The autoshow has seen declining interest and numbers for a number of years and has moved their dates to June in an attempt to reverse the trend.
