Wondering if anyone had bought a Nismo that was wrecked? I found a 2017 Nismo that someone ran into the back end and total the car it was repaired and now up for sale. They are asking $20000 it has 15000 miles on it. Just curious of what you guys think.
Absolutely not IMO. The price is way too high for a salvage title, it was owned as a fleet vehicle (rental company) and the rear repair looks terrible. It has a 1" gap from the trunk to the bumper. I would continue searching elsewhere. You can find clean title 370z Nismos for that price.
1.. how old are you
2.. what is your budget
3.. have you checked to see how much nismo insurance is vs regular 370 (this only applies if you are younger)
4.. have you checked to see if your insurance will insure a salvaged title vehicle, especially if you are going to finance it
If you look directly under both taillights you can see a space where there shouldn't be any gaps. They probably just pulled out just enough of the rear end to mount what they could back on. Terrible idea to purchase..
I am 50, the insurance is not much at all I am really wanting to stay under $25k. Surprisingly they will cover is with full coverage, i gave them the vin to run the quote off.
That is what i though, just seems like it might be a good deal with the mileage. but as i keep looking at the pics i keep finding potential issues.
So, you want advice on a car with the speedometer tampered with, been wrecked, salvage title and repossessed and sold at auction? What could go wrong?
