lol, a car that cost 5 digits showing of in the sea of cars that cost 6 digits. It's like an RSX trying to show off in a Z cruise, not that it's a bad car...it just doesn't belong there. I really hopes GTR drivers aren't a douche like that.

There is so much wrong with this statement I don't even know where to begin. First of all, the GT-R is NOT a 5 digit car. Secondly, how does the GT-R not belong with those cars when it can easily outperform every single one of them? If anything the drivers of those exotics should be happy that the mighty GT-R is even hanging with them. Just to let you know the reason the RSX does not belong in a Z crowd is because it pales in comparison performance-wise. The GT-R on the other hand eclipses the other cars in that video.

 

I would be furious too... for paying 200k for a car that can't keep up.

I agree. I don't care if the GT-R can perform as well as the pure-breds...its in a different class. No different than a modded SRT-4 hangin out with the Viper brothers...it might out accelerate, out turn, out brake...hell just be a better performer than its older sibling, its still in a different class. Another example would be a Z06. It'll probably give alot of those other cars a run for the money, yet it will seem out of place amongst those italian imports.

Before I'm burned at the stake, know that I like the GT-R alot. If I had the money, I'd pick one up....or maybe a Z06..but never would I be so big-headed as to think that I'm at the same level as the exotics. I don't consider the GT-R an exotic. A top performer? Yes. An exotic? No.

The GT-R is a 5 digit car and I wouldnt go as far as to say "easily" out perform the exotics, its more on certain tracks it has the chance of winning.

And why the hell would some dude in a $250K Ferrari F-430 give two ***** about a GT-R? ; much less be happy one is trailing along with them.
He's got a hand built car that's rare and carries a long prestige. The gt-r is a largely assembly lined produced car coming from a japanese company that makes 4 banger grocery getters.

The GT-R doesnt eclipse ****, lets not downgrade a ferrari or other exotic, just to maintain a false sense of nissan loyalty.

Not to hate of the GT-R but its got no business with that group, and its really lame to tag along

 

I thought the vid was cool. You rarely get to see or hear cars like that actually performing. Can't be mad at the guy in the GTR. He was just driving it. Driving it like Id drive it. I beat the crap out of my Z, and I would a Lambo if I had one too.

 

+1. It is not all about performance. If the owner of that Ferrari really felt slighted because the GT-R was SLIGHTY quicker, he could easily trade in her Ferrari for about 4 GT-R's.
