E92 M3. Perfect blend of luxury and performance.
But I am biased, just picked mine up 1.5 weeks ago.
AW/Black 6spd - Love it.

The Z has been fun but I wanted luxury to match performance and that is what the M3 offers.

900 miles on the odo with 300 more to go before my first break-in service. Then I can unleash the S65 V8 above 5500 rpm to 8400. The purr=>roar of the V8 is worth the price of admission alone.

My but like I said I am biased .
Brings a smile to my face every time I drive it.

My next car is about 2 years is goign to be the M3. I feel like the GTR is like a 3rd car to have in order to use it speciafically when you are goign to the track or want all out perforamnce. But everyday you are goign to be cruising adn the name, heritage, and luxary of teh bmw will at least make me more happy. Plus when you tell people you have a bmw m3 you will get respect(only people that aren't enthusiests). My 2 cents and i can't wait for my m3. Having trouble picking white or black though..

i'm actually thinking about the e92 and the gtr, myself. If I'm too poor for the gtr in couple of years, then I'll have to settle for the bimmer. bimmer's beautiful and I've been checking out the after market scene for it.. a set of exhaust will cost you 2500 and up. Upgrades are significantly more expensive and if you're out of warranty, your wallet's done for. 3rd year GTR is perfect for me. Aftermarket catches up, they'll fix a lot of the bugs and it'll be more readily available, not to mention the cost dropping down some.

Porsche=Porsche.....
GTR=Will always be a NISSAN..Not that Nissan is a bad thing, but in 10 years if you still own the GTR I bet a Porsche will hold its value a lot better. In the end get what you want. Life is too short! Now Corvette is still a Chevy...J/K..

If I had $100K, I'd save up a bit more and get a 911 turbo. Either that or the RS8. From your list, I would go for the Porsche.

GTR -

Cons:

- Need to line up for delivery.
- Not mod friendly.

Thats little shallow, isn't it? I mean what difference does it make? The only reason I can think of why you would be concerned about it if you are looking to make a statement.

Just like you said, it is most bang for the buck. A well built car. I don't know what you mean by "not mod friendly" but with basic mods like exhaust and a AP you can make easy 100HP.
The gear box can handle up to 600 HP even more, but nothing would hold if you launch it 15 times in a row.
