The M5 is tight n all but I hate 4dr cars. Murdered M3 2dr 6sp mt=the first car I buy and mod (mod as in murder it out; nothing performance; need a daily driver) when I get done with school and get a job
I was following a C6 ZO6 today and noticed a BMW M5 with temporary tags coming up quick behind us. He stopped at the light so I get behind him. He takes off on green like I knew he would. I was passing him by 4th gear. It was pretty quick.
Isn't a gtr as fast as a 997 turbo if not faster. The car is highly underrated as already mention. Not to mention just like the porsche turbo the all wheel drive in the gtr does'nt sap the top end power like some other all wheel drive cars. I don't see an m5 beating a gtr from a roll. the gtr has just as much power and is lighter. The reason i brought up the 911 turbo is because i've seen a couple of videos on m5board of 997 turbo, destroying the m5.
