Borla Exhaust Would Like Your Help!
Hello all,
This is Chris Higgins from Borla Exhaust (www.borla.com). We’re in the process of developing an exhaust system for the new R35 GTR. We’d like your feedback as to what you would want from an aftermarket exhaust.
What are you most concerned with? Performance? Fitment? Sound? Look? Other? We’re really excited to create an exhaust system that GTR enthusiasts will truly appreciate, and we look forward to your comments!

In order:
1. Performance (no reason to spend the $$ otherwise...unless you can build an inexpensive muffler that sounds exotic for <= $500--and I'm not sure I would do that)
2. Sound (don't mind drone or loud systems that sound...exotic)
3. Fitment (don't want to have to alter anything to bolt on a system)
Of course, number 4 would be cost...the GT-R tax is a killer.

even though i dont own one i think a good exhaust for the new r35 would be lighter than stock, have decent performance gains, and have a nice exotic sound to it. i think the stock style tips would look good but maybe a little bigger if possible

Performance, Fitment, Price, Weight, Sound
Personally I can careless if the tips are chrome or titanium, whatever, but I'd want to make sure I'm not sticking something on the car that will make it weigh more, fit badly, reduce performance, sound bad, and cost a lot.

Thanks for all the input!
Are you willing to cut part of your stock piping for improved performance & sound? Or would you rather it just be a direct bolt-on fitment?

I think most people would want a bolt up. Personally after my experience with my G (as in not using my stock exhaust ever agains), I would care less if I chopped up my oem pipe.
