Autotecknic or Craft Square?

Email or PM me the status if you know anything BTW. I will be stressed all weekend if I don't know anything.
R,
I spoke with Jonathan at Do-Luck yesterday. He informed me that the container is in U.S. Customs, and that they should be able to ship by next week. I will contact them again next week to find out more. D.

Thanks D, I'll talk to you next week. I've got a couple of things to order.
SuperHung, you have a PM about modifying the Autotecknic mirrors.
Darren, talking with SuperHung trying to get some ideas. Can you take a pic of the backside of the base, so I can see the inside where the stem attaches?
I hope that makes sense.

R,
For sure. I'm gonna take some more pics of my car over the weekend, if the weather permits. I've had them on my car for a month now.
Steve,
It's just you man.... just you...

Woot. my Autotechnic mirrors arrived today.. however, some minor build quality issues with the CF portion but i think i can make it work. the connection of the mirror to the black stand, there is a minor gap between the black washer and the hex nut, which i'm gonna try to fill it with a thin piece of rubber to seal it-
my main question is, the hardware pack that it came with, what's the order that you install the mirror to the door? is it:
from outside going in, is it:
Bolt, Mirror, spacer, door, clear rubber thingie and nut?
or is it
Bolt, Clear rubber, mirror, spacer, door and nut?
basically theres no instructions. just wanted to clarify prior to taking part the stock mirrors..
overall, quite impressed. i forsee i can change out the height of the mirrors by chopping the stand and retapping it for the thread of the hex bolt! so if you think its too high? just chop!

teh gap

well.. overall impressions is 9/10- price is great compared to the Craftsq ones (although i suspect they fit alot better)... worse comes to worse- visit to McMaster-Carr and get new stems... these are really easy to replace imho- its just a ball joint /hex fitting to make them stay put-
i'll post picts when i install em on the car.. i wanna paint the base blue like Superhung did...
