Autotecknic or Craft Square?

Same. Did you get the Autotecknics? How much can you modify them (e.g. you can cut as much as you want to make them as short as you want?)

The base in Cheston's pictures looks great.
Looks like a perfect match for the door handles. I currently have the Mastergrade CF mirror tops and sail panel, but those pictures of these on Cheston's ride have convinced me to go with these or the Craftsquare. Z1 - can you get a little better price on the Craftsquare than listed on your site?

i had a body shop friend of mine paint them for me. the bases have many little pinholes. if you are good with prepping surfaces such as the aforementioned, you should go for it! My friend actually told me i should do it, that it wouldn't be that bad. since it is on the exterior i decided to let him do it. i didn't feel like prepping the metal.

Go for it. What's the worst that can happen? You don't like it, take it to them anyway. Shorten that stem first though.

Should have them on today sometime. The mirrors are not tight so you can see that the washer is not flush against ther CF. it should be once everything is installed and tightened.
