05 nissan Z roadster vs. Audi S4
if you're both stock it'll be a drivers race because if it's the newer S4 with the V8 that thing has like 340hp and 400 ft lbs of torque stock.....plus the AWD. In road tests they typically do the 1/4 mile in the high 13's so all things being equal the S4 should beat you. But who cares about the straight line....take him to some twisties cuz those S4's are heavy and handle like tubs out of the box and the Z will smoke his azz.

If it is the new S4 you'll lose for sure. Even in the twisties ( well this is almost all driver skills of course). Don't underestimate this tank. It is heavy but is handles damn fine for a sedan. Top gear did a close course test and the the new S4 beat the M3 and the 350Z by a full second with the same driver. It beat the NSX-Type-R by .07 of a second on a track. I know many times it comes down to a driver's race but between similar drivers, most of us have this bias towards our car. All IMHO!!!!
sigsauer87 it's alright if you get beat. z's aren't unbeatable. hey dude in the s4 spent nearly twice as much as you did and then mods on that car aren't cheap either. good luck, not saying you don't have a chance. play it safe!
[QUOTE=sigsauer87]alright guys, I tried postin this in the street racing section, but the thread is on lock.
Well, a buddy of mine has an audi S4 and wants to run. Its some year between 2002-2004, anyways. Were both stock, and I wanna know what I am getting myself into. I was reading the sspecs on it, the 0-60 time looks pretty scary. Anyone please give some tips, and info on this. THanks for your time.[/QUOTE
