Default 6.5 weeks later i got my Z back!!!!

Well after 6.5 weeks and over 17k in damage and repairs (hit by a woman head on 6/27) i got my ultra yellow roadster back yesterday. Every part damaged was ordered NEW and the list was a mile long. The paint job looks amazing. The alignment seems perfect and it seems to be handling great. The squirts however are not working which is ironic since it was the only fluid that dumped all over the road and the dealership knew that. Well i will post some before and after pics later on.

I wish that I had taken a picture of the main wire harness system that had to be ordered new, it is impressive how many wires run off it.

First simple mods.

Chrome front Z emblem
Custom plates
Subwoofer next
Custom painted rims to follow, thinking Yellow GTC's

17k was with the labor costs. Both my insurance Allstate, and her insurance NY Central mutual laughed at me when I asked the same question. The newer the car the higher the percentage has to be for a total loss.

i guess with it being a roadster it cost more but i got my z base for around 26k
So if they told me they was going to fix it and it would cost 17k id have to tell them they are crazy.

I got T-boned in my 90 300Z by a BMW 740 way back in 93 and the same thing happened. 16k in damage for a car that was valued at 22k and they wouldn't total it. Good thing it was lease as they got it back.
Funny part was after they did they tried to extort another 6k from me claiming the repairs were done sub-standard and I must pay or be sued. Good thing I used a GECAL body shop reccomended by the leasing company. Couldn't go after me as it was their own body shop who did the sub-standard repairs, idiots.
