Anyone else in a cold climate have this problem?
For the last month it has been below 25 degrees here but yesterday it was all the way up to 48. I found myself with my finger on the top button and sat and debated it a long time. Needless to say I decided against it because I had to travel the freeway, but man I miss having the top down! 48 felt sooo good and if it gets above 50 today it's comin off! Anyone else get this itch???
50* = top down for me !!! If it gets too cold, I let the windows up half way and turn on the heat
It's supposed to be 58* in Atlanta today. I'm leaving work early to enjoy some topless driving in December !!!

Was so crazy about the ZR, accepted the dealer's offer for a take home for the weekend - test drive last January. Drove 200 miles in 20 degree temps w top down, bun warmers & heater on max & windows up.
It is the test of manhood (or stupidity, not sure which). I have driven this car in near freezing temps with the top down, heat blasting, and bun warmer on, with only a short sleeve shirt to cover my arms. This is a great inprovement over my old Sebring vert, where I drove in 15 degree weather, during what locals called a blizzard (50+mph winds and snow) top down, and had no seat heaters.
Good, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one! It was another very nice day today, so topeless it is. It does keep you quite warm with the heater on low and seat heaters on like you guys said. Makes me wish I lived in AZ or so. cal so the top would be down all year!
I will put the top down when the temps get down to 7 degrees C (45 F). The heater and heated seats keep you warm. The only negative part is all of the people that look at you with that crazy look.
The new SLK has somthing called an air scarf which is supposed to circulate warm air around your neck. I have to admit I havn't seen many SLK drivers with their top down these days though.

hardly ever rains and nice warm weather all year round.
the only thing that sucks is the traffic... but hey, theres only traffic because cali's so great and everyone wants to live out here.
This past Sunday it was in the low 50's and I went for a 3 hour drive with the top down, windows up, heater and seat heater on. I was very comfortable although the top of my head got cold.
No seat heaters here, (the new 06 cloth is nice btw), and driven w/ the top down in the 40s, i'm sure plenty of people thought i was nuts, but i was too busy enjoying the ride
