Default Installed JWT Friday...NISMO EXHAUST

The pop charger along with the Nismo exhaust sounds like a beast, I would post clips but I do not have the availability
You get the whistle sound and at above 4k the engine bay just growls. It is a head turner when I am driving down the street...it just sounds so exotic.
I had my heart set on the CAI by Nismo but for the price and the hassle of cleaning the filter it was not worth the time and money.

REMEMBER I have the roadster and you can here a nice whistle at moderate acceleration and at cruising speeds the noise is very very very tollerable not annnoyying at all

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE JWT AND NISMO COMBO

Glad you like it.

The PopCharger has better gains than the Nismo CAI anyways.

for nismo cai you clean the filter once a year by jacking the car up and removing 5 screws from the underbody panel and taking off the filter...
*not that hard - takes like 10 minutes*
now...
the CAI numbers are biased because dyno fans blow air directly at the ram air intake thus creating "RAM AIR" effect...
but the CAI filter is located inside the wheel well so it doesnt apply to real life situations...
*just fyi*

But it does sound sweet. I've got nismo CAI and Cat-back. The sounds are highly addictive. I wouldn't recommend it to brand new cars like mine, it is very hard to keep it under 4K. You REALLY want to hear that nice whistle from the intake.

Congratz on your ride,

CAI's are over rated...sure u get colder air at the filter, but the piping is longer..blah blah blah. Can an intake really make THAT big of a difference? (nope)
Its allabout sound when it comes to intake and exhausts (minus cats and headers)

I got the JWT pop, Nismo exhaust and test pipes, but they still aren't loud nuff for me yet. The sound is definitely intimidating though.

Wow still not loud enough, mine is just right especially with the top down. How long have you had the set up, my neighbor told me as you get more miles on the exhaust it gets a little louder.

^^Yep, it does. I had it for 2 months now and I enjoy all the crapy noise it makes especially at wot. I love it when it gets really quiet whenever I drive next to the po po or around my neighborhood streets.
