Difference between 2005 & 2006 Roadster
Newb Here,
Is there enough major differences in fit/finish and or any other issues between model years? There seems to be a couple of local new car dealers willing to give a better deal on the leftovers but are there enough differences for the couple thousand difference?
Thanks,
Mike

well, the discounts are in the 4-6k range that is why I wondered if it was worth the newer tweaks. I just don't know if all of the newer items are worth that kind of extra$$.

Also they changed some of the lines to give a more sweeping look. Follow the line in the hood down and you will see where they meet on the lower lip. Follow the edge under the headlights and you will see that it fades into the bumber close to the fender. The reflectors in the bumber slope the opposite way. My opinion, but I think the small spoiler on the hatch sweeps further to the outside before feathering away on each side.

Anyways, 1K under invoice isn't a big enough discount. I paid $300 under invoice for my 2006 roadster.
Good luck getting your Roadster, you will love it!
Another bonus, if you go 2006 Roadster GT then you get the brembos. And the head unit on the 06 plays MP3s.

you also get the bigger non-brembo stock rotors, newer wheels, lighter clutch feel, upgraded steering and upgraded Navi with a faster processor. Including what everyone else mentioned about the newer headlights, tail lights, newer front bumper, mp3 playback, etc...
