Took the plunge, got my 350ZR!
04 350z Touring (I think), it's basically loaded except for nav. It's got BOSE, heated seats, dual power seats, auto up/down, hid, etc.
I had a G35 that was a lease and I wasn't really happy with the lease since I don't put that many miles on my cars since I have two. I bought it used and think I got a great deal since 350ZRs are hard to find and this one has the EXACT options I'd want if I bought new and it's the color combo I want.
As a bonus it has the Ray's Track rims; they're chrome which at first I was iffy on, but they compliment the car real well. I test drove a lot of Z's and fell in love with the Roadster; it's nostalgic to drive with the top down. Here's some lame camera phone pictures; I'll post more later:

Congrats...
The chrome rims look ok, gives it a classy look vs a sporty look... I was lucky I got my car right as it came off the transport truck so they didnt have time to put a license plate on it

Don't know about the Roadster's, but it sounds like you got the Base Model. If you have an 04 w/ no HID's.
EDIT: Nevermind...I read your post a little more carefully. Congrats on the car.

Just don't leave that top down too long, it will wringle on you.

Actually, I checked out the sales receipt and it's a loaded enthusiast. In fact, I can't tell the difference between a loaded enthusiast and a touring except for the lack of vdc. In the 2.5 years of owning my g35, I never had it kick in for yaw control reasons, just rear-end slippage which the tcs takes care of fine; in fact the tcs is more tame on the 350z than it was on the g35. The G35s vdc/tcs kicked in WAY too easily; I prefer the less obtrusive 350z's program.
Funny seeing you over here BrianV, I go under G35Keg on G35driver.com
The roadster is definatly a fun car... I noticed the same thing about the TCS, the G35 kicks in instantly and the 350z takes its time to allow you to have a little fun

I still have the G35 Sedan. But im considering trading it in for maybe a FX..
When I bought the G35 Sedan I bought it with a MT6 thinking this would be my only car and I modded it with some nice stuff to make it a fun Sports Sedan, but then shortly after I bought the 350zr 6mt and as far as sporty goes the 350zr blows away the G35 Sedan (doesnt help the seats in the sedan won't hold you in place)... So now that I actually have a more true sports car I figure I don't really need the sedan anymore and would prefer something more practicle and that has a auto transmission.
I have always swore I would never buy a SUV, but the FX looks like a nice compromise, although the pathfinder tempts me with its seating for 8 and bigger size...

Ahh yeah I got a truck so that's why I decided to get a 2 seater convertible; don't need four doors or four seats.
Anyways, here are more high-res shots:

Congrats!!!
Your roadster looks great! I also have a silver '04.5 roadster and I think it looks very classy.
Today was one of the better days so far this spring (sunny and high of 61 in New Hampshire) and I was able to finally go for a long drive with the top down. I had almost forgotten how nice it was be in a convertible. I had a grin plastered from ear to ear.
I am so glad I purchased this car instead of the 05 Boxster. All the thrills and acceleration without the maintanence costs . In November, I had negotiated a deal at a local dealer for a friend and myself on two leftover 05 Boxster. I was about to take delivery until I realized that I couldn't get over the oil leak issue that seem to afflict many boxsters and decided to not get the car. My friend ended up getting a 05 Boxster from a dealer near him in VA. Now I'm trying to coordinate a meeting so we can race.
Enjoy your ride!
