Default this a decent price?

Is this about right for the price on an almost 3 year old roadster?

This is at the dealership by my house, found this on their lot on the way home from the movies and the window sticker said info was online ond vwala'.

Seems like for that price might as well buy a new one?

Im assuming its a touring model, 32k seems a bit high for a 04' being you could buy them new for 36k with minor haggling... I would offer 28k for it.

They must of just got it as a trade in, let it sit on there lot for several weeks then go back and offer 28k for it

It's got low miles, but its 2 years old already... I gurentee you they probably only gave the guy who traded it in around 25k for it. Im sure you could work out a deal on a new 06' model for around $36k, try a dealership at a big city where there's more competition.

I was told they have been a shady dealer for a while but i figured, aren't all dealers but that was funny to see them do that. I think I'll just look into a new one if I'm gonna buy one. dunno why someone would trade a car in with only 14k miles on it? used cars kinda scare me.

i have seen plenty of good ones for 26k to 28k. i found my "deal" on cars.com, got my 04 touring ZR with 21500 miles on it for 27k. The price on the window was about 35k

I just bought brand-new, but leftover from December, '05 Touring Roadster, in Redline, with 18" wheels, cargo net, mats, splash guards, etc., AT, for $33,500 in Northern Virginia area. So $32k for a used car with some miles on it seems high.

On the other hand - someone said that Z roadsters hold their value better than any other convertible. If it's a color you like, has all the options you want, maybe you might have to come up some from 28k.

Check inventory of other dealers within a 25 or 50 mile radius and see what you come up, that's the only way to really compare.
