I understand your need for one. There is a company in Germany that will custom make one for you, but I can not find their website to save my life.

Default hardtop

I asked Wiesmann about a month ago about building a hardtop for the roadster.
They told me that they have no free workers to do that by now. The price for a hardtop will be more than € 10.000 that´s about $12000. So it will be cheaper to buy a car for the wintertime.

Greetings from Germany
Thomas

Yeah GSTOM,

The Wiesmann Roadsters and Coupes are succesfull, so more Euro's profit to sell the cars.
Altough if they sell a hardtop for 10K................

Regards,

Mang

If they haven't produced a hard top yet after 2+ years of production, I doubt we will ever see one.

All in all, the soft top isn't that bad in the winter. After a few months you will get used to it. In reality, all the hard top does is provide a quieter ride on the highway and the ability to go through car washes. Beyond that I don't see much of a benefit besides the looks.

I guess one thing that irks me is that even the stupid pontiac G6 convertible has a hardtop convertible, but yet, the Z doesn't.. as for car washes.. i actually saw a convertible going through a carwash today (wasn't a Z).. strange

Since there is some comments about winter here, I have a question: We just got a new Enth 6 speed Roadster a week ago. We'd like to use it during at least part of the winter and I know I'll need winter tires and will have to avoid snow that amounts to much depth, but how does this car cope with winter? Just some general comments would be great.
