Nissan's award-winning 350Z* sports car will soon be joined by a new convertible version. The 2004 350Z* Roadster, featuring a power-operated cloth top with glass rear window, will debut at the New York International Auto Show in April. Available this summer.
Would never have a ragtop again. Had one in a Vette and a jeep and they suck after a few years, plus very limited security.. Now if they had T-tops............
Originally posted by EDogg811 is that supposed to be a power hardtop like the slk??
Now theres an idea... The best of both worlds... The luxary or a convertible... with the advantages of a hardtop!!!! but isnt nissan saying its gonna be purely soft top?
Ethan, keep us posted. Andrew (rouxeny) and I were talking the other day about going to the auto show. It'd be nice if there were a gettogether somewhere.
I will be coming up to the show too. I most likely won't have my Z there, I would probably go up by boat to avoid all the traffic and dock at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum (right next to the Convention Center). If things work out, we could possibly have a small meet on the boat, throw a few burgers and dogs on the grill and have a few drinks. I think they have had as many as 60 people on the boat before so there would be plenty of room.
