Who has a ROADSTER with TEST PIPES ?
Does anyone here have a Roadster with Test Pipes/Cat-Deletes in their exhaust system? If so, how is the smell with them while driving or at a stop light?

I do. Honestly I have not noticed it too much... BUT that is probably because I have a fuel leak and all I can smell is gas when I fill the tank over 3/4 full
I also have open dump wastegates so, that does not help the situation either. BUT while driving you should not be able to smell anything, if you do, DRIVE FASTER.. LOL
I would say that if you are sensitive to exhaust smell you would not want to do test pipes. Unless you are looking for 400+whp you could probably get away with the metal High-Flow Cats that some companies make.
Hopefully someone else here with a slightly more stock car will chime in.

Had test pipes on for a week then put the berks high flow back in. I loved the extra sound and pwr but i could smell the exhuast at every red light with the top down or windows down depending on wind direction. The smell seamed less than an old school car or truck but I just didnt want to risk getting hasseled. Fines in Canada are 500/cat and sometimes going to the track the cops have set up road blocks checking every single car. They did this at the Pinks event and it was a good thing I didnt bring the ZR that day because i still had the test pipes in.
Could never smell anything while in motion.

threadomancer do you bidding! well... since they didnt lock it down
ive had test pipes on my roadster just have to be careful driving at stop lights and in front of cops... as long as they dont smell you, they usually dont give you the evil eye. its kinda like farting in a full elevator

I have test pipes on mine. and like alot of people are saying, if you are giving it some go souce.. and then come up to a light shortly after, the smell or exhaust floatsand you get a whiff. Nothing bad, i heard before that its going to smell like rotten eggs but i never smelled anyting like that. Ive had mine on for a year almost and enjoy them ALOT. Oni the expressway they sound MEANNNNN. I hate titek test pipes with nismo catback and k&n typhoon intake. Good combo IMO
I have the Kenetix Resonated Test Pipes bolted up next to the RSR Ex mag exhaust. The smell is there but not as bad as when I had non resonated Berks test pipes. Also I feel like I gained back some lost midrange/lower tq lost from the wide open berks. Def. a great bang for the buck mod.
Just a coupe opinion for you but the smell isn't anything pungent at all. Just as an example. When my girl first smelled c-16 race gas her stomach turned and she almost threw up.(women) but she has never once complained about any smell from my car.
