'04 roadster
Hi Everyone
I just picked up an '04 a couple of days ago.
I picked up the car through a dealer auction and it came without a manual. Other then going to the dealer any idea where I can get one?
Also, has anyone deactivated the passenger airbag? I want my kids to be able to ride in the car.
Cheers.

thanks. when I tried the link I couldn't get the manual so I went to the home page and was able to source it that way.
Now, what else should a neophyte 350Z owner need to know?

Oooh I love the Silverstone - How many miles? Did you get a good deal etc...?
You may want to look at an extended warranty for it if you got a good deal and it still has less than 36K miles - repairs can be expensive.
As far as issues:
Make sure you check the roof out thoroughly for any pinholes or tears.
The Stock tires go pretty fast - although the first set on my car last about 30K miles which is good.
Also have the brakes checked out - the OEM pads throw off a lot of dust and can wear quickly... but not as fast as my G35's brakes sheesh - lol!
Congrats on your new ride!

The car came with only 10700 miles on it. I think I got a pretty good deal on the car. As I mentioned it came through the dealer auction. Even by the time I paid transport duty and taxes as well as some conversion costs I was still 4-5 K below what they go for up here. The strength of the Canadian $ over the last 12-18 months is what really makes this possible.
I am enjoying the car alot. Still getting used to the manual transmission.
Thanks for your insight. My only problem is I just got it and I will likely have to put it away for the winter in a couple of weeks....

Just pick up some winter tires/wheels. The car drives suprisingly well in the snow. Plus in Toronto, the roads are always cleared anyways.
With the dollar, I'm tempted to buy from the US next time. MSRP on a C6 vette is $67K, from the US it it would be a tad over $50K (in Canadian dollars).
