Anybody here have an aftermarket system on their ZR? I am looking to use part of my stuff from my previous coupe.

One concern is a stupid thieve cutting the top to gain access. We know it is tight to access it, but who knows what.

As with any vehicle, if a thief wants something bad enough, they will get it. Hard top or convertible, it really doesn't matter, it is just made easier. Just get an alarm with a proximity sensor and paging system, and hope it works. Other than that, don't give them anything worth stealing. Take faces off radios if equipped, hide remotes, CDs, radar detectors, etc. When you get to the area you are going to park, turn it down.

 

yeah, and put a sunshade on the windshield as well. Maybe some darker tint

 

With aftermarket systems, its best to invest in a good alarm. I am investing in a Compustar alarm in a few months.

 

I have thought about it but I came to the same thought . just do not give them a reason and if they still do then they just wanted to mess with you car anyway. also depends on if you have a secure place to park it like a garage most of the time.
