Default Ordered my roadster

I stopped by Bob Sharp Nissan and ordered
my roadster tonight. Woohoooo.

They finally got the sheet of details from
Nissan.

I ordered the Touring model so I will get the
black Leather & Mesh seats. I ordered
Chrome Silver with a black top. The 18 inch
wheels are an option even when ordering the
M6 (or so it seems from the sheet).

They said the nissan computer would allow
them to input the order in a week or so.

Now I can't wait!!!!! How am I gonna survive?

I guess I will have to travel dealership to dealership
asking for test drives until mine arrives.

Congrats! May I ask why you didn't go with Liquid Silver? How much did you pay?

Default questions

Liquid Silver - That didn't appear as one of the choices on the sheet I saw. Maybe it will be available later in the model year? Or maybe not at all? I don't know. I really like CS so I probably would have ordered that anyway.

Mesh Seats - Apparently any roadster with leather gets mesh seats. The optional seats are the orange trimmed mesh seats. (If we were reading the cryptic Nissan sheet correctly)

Price - They did not have any pricing info yet. I agreed to pay MSRP / Sticker price plus tax and dmv fees.

They will call me when they get pricing info. I will post it when I get it unless someone beats me to it.

That's very weird since 1) Liquid Silver is officially a 2004 Color, and the Roadster is a 2004 model I believe. I don't think there is any 2003 Roadsters.. maybe I'm wrong, and secondly, pricing has already been released, a member of this site posted the sheets and info. to the pricing I believe

It is POSSIBLE that liquid silver was on the sheet and I missed it. I was more interested in Chrome Silver so I didn't really look at the colors too carefully.

As for pricing, nobody at Bob Sharp has the pricing yet. I was working directly with the sales manager on my order and he hadn't seen any pricing. (of course it is possible someone else DOES have pricing.)

I did not see any posting with roadster prices except for some educated guesses. Can you find the thread?

Do you mean "pre-ordered?" My dealer took my deposit back in November but as of yesterday there still was no official pricing from Nissan. If it's available, I'm also getting a liquid silver with black interior/orange seats. I saw 18" chrome wheels on a coupe in the showroom. They added $2000 to the sticker but they looked really cool...much better than the stock wheels. The car also had a mesh air intake (didn't look good to me) and a dash kit that looked downright horrible. I'm guessing a loaded touring roadster with the chrome wheels will end up costing $45k. I was considering a Boxster S so I think the Z will be a bargain in comparison. I also think it's an overall better looking car. I'm a little nostalgic...my all time favorite car was my 85 300zx I drove back in college (pre-marriage/kids). I'm looking forward to spending my mid life crisis cruising around in my roadser!
