Default What model Roadster do I have?

I am living in Japan and I own a new 350Z Roadster with leather interiror, and most options with the exception of Brembo brakes. I am thinking about buying either StopTech or AP calipers. And yes I agree with the masses that Red is better than black (smile).

I hear everyone refer to their Z being a Track Model or various other models.

My question is: How do I know if I have a Track Model or not? In Japan I never hear anyone use that term. Its important to me because I want to order my calipers in the US and ship them to Japan for installation.

Would appreciate everyone's help.

hmm ... leather without brembo's .. well in america, that's the closest to the track edition you can get, i don't know if it's different in japan though.

Probably a touring if you have most options and not Brembos. What does the sticker from the dealer say?

Default What is my version?

I just checked the order form from the original purchase and it says "Version T".....is that TRACK?

Basically it has:
Black leather power seats (that automatically move forward and back when you lower the top), auto trans, a/c, auto top, mirrors that tilt down when you put it in reverse, Bose sound system with CD/MD/Radio, subwoofer, slight tint on the power windows, onboard computer, 5-year coat, 245's on the rear and 235's on the front....and the rims are Volks.

I don't have Brembos and I want to install Stop Tech's calipers.

Hi there,

maybe you could call nissan customer service in Japan just to clarify how your model fits in with the US models. Also, do you guys have VIN #'s or any other way you could look up your car? It might say something besides Version T.

Thanks to all! Touring sounds correct to me (smile). We don't have VIN numbers because vehicle don't get stolen for the most part. Not much of anything is stolen. So as for the after market brake upgrade I need to make a decision other than Brembo. I just want something different. On the Touring version can I just change the calipers, rotors, pads, and brake lines? Or is there a problem with the Master cylinder, etc.?

And help would be nice. Looks wise I am quite happy with Stop Tech (red).

I replaced the rotors and brake lines on my Touring with the Stop Techs (stock replacements) with no issues. Are you looking at their big brake kit or going with larger than stock calipers? If so then you need to determine if your wheels can accommodate. If you have stock touring wheels...they may not fit. If you are just ordering stock equivalent replacements then you should have no issues.
