Default Top down manual

I brought the car used with No owner's manual. I was just curious. Can you actually lower the convertible top down manually? incase its malfunction?
Thanks

Yes. I browsed over it though and it definitely wasn't straight forward.

Luckily I've never had to try it, but like I said it doesn't sound trivial. I would just stop by a dealership or download the manual off one of their tech websites.

Here is a link to the online manual for the 2005 roadster.

Go to page 128-131 for the specifics. It doesn't look like something you would want to do -- unless it was an absolute emergency.
