Angry My 350Z Towed after first oil change

So my day started well. Except for I had to work and other things happened which made it not so good. I got my oil changed this morning, dropped the car off on my way to work. My husband took me to work. Picked it up around 3. Drove the 5-7 miles to work, parked it for 2 hours, then drove the 12 miles home, sat for 3 hours and we drove to dinner bout 2 miles. Ate then left, as we left I noticed the Z wouldn't go above 2000 rpm (manual). I tried shifting...nothing, and the engine was making a reving noise similar to that of an engine misfire, alternating loud to low every 1-2 seconds. I immediately put on my hazards and pullled over as quickly as I could. I was on Metcalf, which is one of the busiest 6 lane roads in my area (45 mph speed limit) I couldn't move over 10. I immediately thought what happened today, checked the oil and it was below the L. We couldn't find any proof that the oil had spilled out, there was nothing leaking from the bottom of the vehicle. I called my roadside through Nissan who wouldn't do anything but give me the name of a tow company (by the way I'm an insurance adjustor and know who is and isn't good, and called my trusted tow company). They picked us up, knowing they were going to have to take us home, with no seatbelts......needless to say I wouldn't allow him to take the highway, talk about unsafe. My Z bottomed out when he pulled it on the truck. So now, my engines ****ed up, the bottom of my front bumper is ****ed up and I am without my Z who has 1200 miles. I had oil pressure, but couldn't get it to do ANYTHING.

Ouch. Poor Z.

I'm wondering what "didn't" get done when it was getting the oil change.

looks like they forgot to tighten the drain bolt. Have a leak down test done to confirm you won't need a new engine, on their dime of course.

sorry to hear about your brand new ZR.

ever since a mechanic forgot to put the oil cap back on, i've always checked my oil status right in front of the service center before driving off...no matter how rude that may seem.

dealer should replace your bumper, new engine and free oil changes

First photo I have seen of a cable to the tow hook. Guess that tow hook really works.

Yes its a hybrid.... I gave up a 2005 Nissan Altima SE-R for it. I miss that back seat, but the Z is so worth....or was until I was stranded on the side of the road......

Yea it took 3 people to figure out how to pop off part of the grille, not easy in the dark, and stupid me took the book inside my house so I could see a few things and never figured I'd need it in the Z for a TOW!!! So found the tow hook in the spare tire .....
I do not feel comfortable with my Z sitting outside even though its in a good neighborhood, I have a garage...for a reason. Way to ruin a saturday night.

Maybe they forgot to add oil after they drained it, wouldn't surprise me.

Yep..
Don't let the FoxyRed distract you..... I am a very strong redhead.... Dealers hate it when I am in their lot cause I strick a hard deal. And I do not give up. I plan on getting a new engine, my husband is going to insist that we a nismo exhaust and a cold air intake. I think its a good plan, I don't expect it to happen but I'll try. This whole situation is sur-real... I keep thinking I can just go in the garage and take the Z for a spin..... I'm gonna go hit the alcohol now.
