I put on a JWT Popcharger on Thursday night. I have to say I am very happy with it. This was me
The sound is sweet in the low RPM's you get a nice whistle with every shift and acceleration. In the high RPM's it growls like the engine came to life. I think the JWT combined with my MD spacer and Exhaust really made a nice combination.
My wife was inside and thought it sounded good. I was happy to hear that she could even tell the new noise. She doesn't know anything about cars and could care less about what I do to mine, lol.
The butt dyno tells me it opened up my mid to upper RPM gain. The low end stayed the same or maybe gained a little. I bet its also the placebo effect
Either way I love it. I was scared to have a stalling issue or heat bog, but after 30 minutes of in traffic letting the car sit then driving I haven't noticed anything yet. I will see what its like tomorrow and the more I get to driving it.
This weekend I will hopefully get my UR Crank Pulley on as well. That should be another nice addition. I will post up another thread when we get it done.

Well its been a couple days since the install. I can honestly say it feels like the car has a little more umpf from 2-3500 rpms as well. It was tourqy before but now it is even more fun.
The sound it produces from 2-3 RPMS is a nice whistle like a turbo spooling, just wish it really was a turbo lol. But still it brought the fun of top down driving from a 7 to an 8. So far no heat soak, at least that is noticable, and no stalling, thank god!
Hopefully tomorrow or tonight I can get the pulley on. I went and picked up the belts for it today.

Congrats on the Popcharger.
I guess you need to remove the K&N from your signature now
I went with the Injen intake. I intentionally installed it as a short ram with the filter in the engine bay. Drove it around and thought performance was marginally better. Then I removed the front bumper and installed the rest of the Cold Air Intake.
Definately an improvement! Sound is still good but I feel the aircharge must be cooler this way.
Any pics?

Good spotting on the signiture. As of right now I don't have any pics taken but I will have to get some. Maybe this week.
How do you like the resonated TP's? I bet the performance is something you can feel from them. The only thing I worry about is the stupid CEL. Do you have issues with it?

Yes, I love the performance. Not a huge gain as much as it is a shift in the power curve. At a very slight loss at lower end power, I seem to have more power at hgher RPMs. (I good trade) The sound is very good with the OE muffler. So far, no raspiness or popping.
Thanks for asking, I hope I didn't threadjack. Looking forward to see your pics.

You actually lost power.

Sorry to be a newbie, I'll search for myself on that topic.
The z33 likes shorter piping for the air. The long piping for the CAI to the front of the bumper have shown to lose power in reviews. Don't know exactly why. The best of both worlds would be to keep a short ram type intake under the hood, while have a fresh path of air ducted in from the front. Even then, the stock 06' box intakes are the best in terms of design.
edit: I myself run the JWT Popcharger Intake on my 05 Z

The JWT does not have long tubing. It uses the stock tube. I have had it on since last thursday. The car is tourquier than before. I wish I had a dyno but its not all in my head. I think the car sounds great and feels great.
Im not on the band wagon of thinking bolt ons don't do anything. You can feel the car pull as you hear the air sucking in. I don't think its just the sound getting to me either.
