Putting up ZR for winter?

Putting up ZR for winter?
Who is all putting your ZR up for the winter? I ended up getting a beater car so now I have the ability to do this. What are some of the reccommended procedures. Get the oil changed, cover up...?
We are having a crappy cold rainy day today so I just got to thinking about this. I will probably drive the ZR on nice road clear days but no snow driving.
What do you guys do?
Thanks for the help and input.

Personally, as long as the roads are dry and clear I still try to drive mine at least every 2 weeks.
I learned first hand these OEM tires do not grip in cold weather so take it easy.

You guys in Cali are lucky! Here in Kansas SUV's get stuck in some of the junk we get. When I had my S2000 before the ZR it was nuts because it was my DD even through winter. I told myself when I get the ZR its not going to see the snow.
I had a VR4 that handled pretty good but AWD is cheating lol.

I put my in the garage for winter and drive my TL. If it does not look like its going to snow I will drive her once a week to keep chit flowing. This keeps me from "truly" having to go through a whole storing process. I live like 10 miles form work so I don't put many miles on her in the winter. But as I said running it once a week keeps me from doing all of the storage chit. I suggest oyu do the same, unless oyu REALLY want to not touch it all winter.

I def. want to drive it when I can in the winter, this sounds like a great alternative to just storing it. The most I might not be able to, if it gets really bad would be a couple weeks or so. I could always go out start it up and keep the fluids flowing.
I like this better than just covering it up and neglecting it all winter.

My Z is not a daily driver-for that I have an '08 Honda Hybrid or a 88 Honda Accord. So, the Z may sit in the garage for a week or even ten days at a time. Don't think it hurts it!
Hope you have a mild winter,
Cheers,

Thanks Steve, my back up is a 93 grand am. It has a crap load of miles but was only 250.00! Just for driving to work and back is all I need.
I guess we will see how the winter goes. I guess that is more time to spend detailing and maybe get a project going if its just going to sit there. I really want to get a dvd/nav installed and maybe ditch the bose sub.
