Default Spoiler/wing for roadster?

I don't think the usual Nismo wing looks good on roadster, it breaks the line too much. It works with coupe because of the large hatchback, but it's too abrupt with roadster. I'm thinking something like the spoiler that comes with track coupe or this blitz spoiler would look better, what do you guys think?

versus Nismo Wing

If someone can photoshop the wings onto roadster, that would be great help.

Default stock

I like the stock spoiler on the roadster.

SixRB6 posted a pic of his roadster with the stock spoiler and it looked sweet.

I agree that the nismo or other big wings are too big for the roadster.

Just my opinion of course.

AndyB, thanks, like I thought the low profile spoiler looks better than a wing

There is also a mental aspect to this for me. If I REALLY wanted aerodynamics and an ultimate race machine I would get the hard top Z. So to me, a small spoiler adds some style, but a large racing spoiler would be too much for the roadster.

does that make any sense?

That is personal opinion for sure, but it is how I see it.

Go to the tries and wheels forum - THere is a person there that started a forum about adds and wheels to his roadster.

He has a silverstone with the OEM spoiler

Absolutely, a big wing would break the line of the roadster.

Plus as a roadster, it looks better as a grand touring car than boy racer car.

Default Hey guys!

Here is my spoiler on the roadster. Stock OEM..What do you think? A big spoiler will NOT be nice on the roadster.

Stay Sleek.

yeah that looks nice. that looks fits the roadster

For mine, I would prefer to find a low profile spoiler that fits flush against the surface.

SixRB6,

How did you attach the rear spoiler? Did you drill the marked holes, or did you use the adhesive under the spoiler?

And, does it sit flush on the trunk? Yours looks real nice!

Default Thanks!

It was installed at the dealer! They drilled the holes...no tape and yes it sits flush.

SixRB6....

What does the Injen CAI + Borla sound like...I'm thinking of getting the same combo...

Some suggest that the highpitched Injen CAI is not suited for the Borla Exhaust. Did you dyno the setup?

A sound clip of your car would be much appreciated....

Installing this week (Injen CAI, Z-Xtreme Grounding, JDM Side Markers)

Undecided on...

Wheels
(iForged FS Aero or 5Zigen Hyper ZR or RAcing Hart CX or BC BC05)

Exhaust (Borla or Injen or Nismo or Stillen)

Default If I can figure...

out how to post a sound clip, I will.

The Injen and the Borla are going on TODAY! I just dropped the car off! So I will let you know.

I am also putting on the grounding kit this weekend!

JDM clear markers are also being installed Sunday! I will post pics when done!

I like the wheels and have also just picked up a 2004 Roadster white w/ gray interior. I have owned a couple convertibles and black interior will "burn your ***" in the summer. Also, do you like your new exhaust (sound , performance)?
My opinion is that the spoiler does N O T H I N G for the fine auto you already own, plus you have just added a wash n wax obstacle .

A mermber of 350zmotoring.com pointed out that "The Spoiler Factory" is now selling a OEM type spoiler for the ZR. Here is the link:
