Default Black on Black

Just had my wheels powder coated black satin. Fresh coat of wax and a full tank of gas. Ready to roll.

looks awesome on your black roadster. I had my previous rims powdercoated black just like that but I had ONE meet with the curb and that was it. It scraped about 1" of paint off and it looked so terrible in contrast that I uninstalled them. So i wont be powdercoating rims again. Beware of the slightest curb touch.

It's just the light, the angle and the lack of tire shine. I'd wager this looks killer in person. Nice work Bro.

black rims on a black car only look good if you keep the tires clean and shiney. Otherwise all folks will see are those dusty rings around your rims Keep it clean!

Curb rash sucks.. That was the reason I had them powder coated. I scraped a couple wheels. I would think that if it happened again it wouldnt look so bad because I could touch it up with paint.

You could do that and it shouldnt cost any more. The shop I went too had unlimited color combinations. You cant beat it for the new look on stock rims. 85.00 per wheel. You could also go with a gloss finish. I thought about that but thought it would be too much bling for me.

Looks pretty cool bro. I always like the black on black look or Silver on black. I got my GT Rays in Black Chrome which really looks like gunmetal.
