Question Bought Z Hav.n Probs Please Help

Bought my wife an 04 roadster back in FEB. For starters the sub keeps cutting out while run fine for a while then quit. Second made a turn and the airbag light came on. And lastly when the car is started the oil pressure gauge pegs out and stays there that just started today with airbag light. New to these cars think sending unit may be bad on gauge confused by rest.

Oil pressure pegged at idle? Or just when you rev it prior to it warming up?

Sub - no idea - check connections? Any other intermittent issues - other speakers, etc?

The sub cutting out was a recall thing to do with the amp I believe, you'll have to pay for it though.

Yeah there are two amps: one for the sub and one for the rest of the speakers, might as well change both if you change them.

My driver's seat side airbag was replaced (under warranty) 3 times - that dang light would not stay off for about 3 years. It's fine now.

I'm having the same issue with my 05 ZR as far as the airbag light and the sub cutting in and out. Dealership is checking out the light since I just bought it a month ago. Not sure where to take it for the sub since I know I'll have to pay for it.

Pitch that whole Bose system. My oil pressure gage did the same thing, it was the sending unit, cost me 90 bucks at the dealer. I'd think that any sending unit for any VQ engine would work, maybe a sending unit for an Altima would be cheaper. If I recall the amps are under the seats, maybe the amp and airbag light are related by a common connection under a seat.
