A new board design is being layed out and will hopefully be done within the next week or so. I am also in contact with someone who has provided some great pics of the windscreen internals and such. He will be receiving an LED string setup soon so that he can test out the area for LED positioning.
As usual, I'm way behind on my desired progress schedule, but at least it continues to move forward. Feel free to watch this thread as info becomes available (as well as my website for info on the company as a whole), but I will be sure to PM everyone once things are ready.

The LED is in Mike's posession, and the control box will ship to him tomorrow. The new board design was finished yesterday morning, so I shoudl have that sent to the board house by the end of the week (need to make another miniature board for the LEDs to replace the current design).
I'm anxious to hear Mike's thoughts, so feel free to bug the hell out of him until he chimes in

Somebody needs to bug the crap out of Mike He's had a full set in his hands for several days now, and initial comments from him look promising. He's working on optimum LED spacing and will eventually need to help me put together an install instruction set (nothing complicated, just a simple how-to).
The new board design is at the board house, but it will take me some time to transfer the code to the new processor. It shouldn't take me more than a couple of days, but I've been bitten in the *** before by saying that.
blue, if you're willing to go it alone on the install, I could probably provide you with another one-off like Mike's. The controller won't be ultra-pretty as the CAD files for the case are still being worked on, but all people should see is the screen anyway.

Thought you guys might want to be teased with a CGI pic of the new board design. The elctronics won't change, but the component layout will once the case design is nailed down (hope to have pics of the case in a few days).
