Air conditioning turns on?
I got the Silver Roadster.........LOVE IT!!!
I've noticed whenever I turn on my heater......or whenever I turn on the fan, the AC light automatically goes on........I turn the fan dial, green AC light comes on, then I have to manually push the "button" to turn off the AC......is this normal......is there a way to turn on the fan without kicking on the AC, even if it's just on for a second before I turn it off.

This also drives me crazy. I hate activating the AC for a fraction of a second every time I want some fan action. I feel like I'm going to burn something out or hasten the death of my AC compressor or something. I don't like being forced to have the AC on when I turn the fan on or if I want to vent to the defrost.

Yeah, that's exactly the way I feel..........sometimes I feel like turning it on and off so quickly may do more harm than just leaving it on........I hate the click.....click of the on and off......so is there anyway to not have this happen, or are we stuck with it.

Well, I believe if you just turn the fan down to low with AC off when you turn off the car, it will remember that setting and when you start the car again, the fan will still be on low and the AC will be off.

Automatic ?
Do you have your climate control set to auto mode, so when you set the temp it does the rest?
I always run my a/c - after 300,000 miles I will have to replace my a/c, but I will deal with that then.

Doesnt the manual show an auto feature about that?
If you hold in the button longer than 3 seconds that turns on the auto for the car to decide when to use AC or not..
hmm or is that when to recycle the air or pull in air from outside.
ok chalk this up as a worthless post.
