How do you get to the third brake light in a ZR?

Does anybody know how to get to the third brake light in the ZR? Do you have to open the top up or can you just pop it out?

from the service manual from the YM2006, it looks like you have to open the tonneau cover to get to it. It looks like it attaches from underneath with two nuts. Good luck.
