Default Roadster Trunk Space

Trying to figure out how much trunk space is in the roadster Z. Looking at a 2007. Any help would be appreciated.

quick google search turned out to show 4.1 cubic feet of space in the roadster.

The non drop top Z has 7.4 cubic feet of trunk space.

There's enough room for groceries as long as you don't buy the 6-pack of paper towels
Also enough for weekend luggage for two, if you leave the dive tanks at home.

Really not all that much, but you don't buy the car expecting to be lugging things around. I picked a friend up from the airport and he fit a big suitcase in it with a bag.

To give you an idea:

You can fit one set of golf clubs in a stand bag, I don't think a cart bag would fit because the lid barely closes with the stand bag I use. There is a bit of space left over towards the front of the trunk that will fit a small bag, my laptop bag will not fit flat when my golf bag is in it, so you probably have about 12" of depth left once the golf back is in.

I have to lay the boxes of cereal on their side to close the lid (description of the height)

One golf bag (description of width)

One golf bag, jumper cables, and golf shoes (description of front to back depth)

If you have to ask this question, the roadster may not be for you. good luck.

As stated above, although the trunk is small, it is an efficient shape. I’m a pretty organized packer, so I don’t have any trouble caring a full complement of groceries back there.

A considerable amount of extra stowage is available on a roadster when the top is up. The hatch where the top lives when it is down is a nice deep rectangular shape, with a flat bottom. Access is achieved by holding the power top button just long enough to so that the rear (fifth bow) part of the top folds forward, and the powered hatch cover opens. To close just reverse the procedure, takes all of about 10 seconds.

Should you find yourself in charge of buying and packing the booze for a weekend beach party, and if you’ve happened to tell your significant-other, boyfriend, or parents that, your destination is bible camp. This hidden hatch is your best friend!

Selling point to me was that the roadster has an actual trunk vs. the coupe which just has a hatch to see all your stuff.

That's the truth! If I have to carry anything of size, or two golf bags, I drive my S2000. The Z Roadster trunk is tight.

Default trunk space

I always take it to Costco, it keeps the wife from buying too much.
