I am new to this forum and apparently this topic has been discussed a lot. I have a 06 350Z roadster with manual shift. I bought the car with 6,000 miles on it about 18 months ago. I don't put many miles on it and when I went to have the oil changed at around 11,000 miles it was over a quart low. I took it to the dealer and had the oil changed because they said that the last oil change may not have put enough oil in it. It was still in warranty until august 2009. I took it back again with 750 miles on it and they said that it did not test positive for excessive oil consumption. I have put 2,700 miles on it since the oil change and it is about a quart low. I find this unacceptable for a car with 17,000 miles. I'm getting ready to take it back to the dealer again. Any suggestions?
