Street racing. Not impressed. Real racers are here: https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840...ons-stock.html

I do not care if it is faster or slower. Its a hatch with *****. The MS3 motor has a defect that Mazda has not yet corrected. Tentatively they said the fix is coming in June(not 100% on this), but so far they have fibbed twice. I cannot believe mazda let this quality control problem continue with the new model. If you think my case is erroneous, then take a peek over on the mazda sites.

Some oil getting past the pistons rings and direct injection issues. When the problem starts, one sign is a massive burst of smoke that exits out the tailpipes.

http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.ph...c&board=1026.0 - Look through the first few pages.
http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=140055.0 - Here's just one example.
There are plenty of smoking turbo threads and the like if you look even further back. The amount of MS3's with these issues are compiling. There are other mazda forums to check for reference.
Its the turbo seals and not the rings. My apologizes guys.

that vid is a joke and hopefully they both wrap their cars around a telephone pole. ms3 driver needs a perfectly tailor made street race to even have a chance. not to mention the Z is 100% better looking.

My roomate bought an MS3 a few years ago. We raced a few times in my Roadster and I beat him with a car length or so.
He sold the car, but IMO the MS3 is quick but the complete package of the Z is 10x better. Also, the Z Roadster is 20-25k more expensive than an MS3 new.

I agree with you about the Z looking 100% better, I wouldn't be caught dead driving a ms3, however, with just a few bolt ons, the ms3 would take a stock z, especially a de everytime.
